Brain-Body Group Meetings at Yale
The Brain-Body Interest Group is an intellectual home for integrative brain-body science at Yale. It brings together labs across departments and disciplines for monthly discussions on brain-body interactions.

Sessions are led by Yale faculty and are deliberately discussion-oriented, not standard research-in-progress talks: they leave ample room to discuss the state of the field, open questions, and theoretical frameworks, presented at a high level and free of jargon for an interdisciplinary audience. Every few months, the group also hosts external speakers. Anyone at Yale is welcome to attend.

Past Events Calendar
Every few months, the group hosts external speakers. From 2026–2027, the Wu Tsai Institute will support some of these meetings.
Past speakers include Virginie Ruetten (Janelia, HHMI; Using Whole-Body Cellular Activity Imaging to Uncover Principles of Brain-Body Coordination) and Alex Nectow (Columbia; brain–heart interactions).
